What’s in the Box: Watermelon, green filet beans, heirloom slicing tomato (variety), rainbow cherry tomatoes(orange,red,yellow,white, black), purple plum tomatoes, cabbage(red), garlic, summer squash, sweet yellow onion, eggplant, green pepper, red Italian sweet pepper, kale, cantaloupe(bi-weekly only) and celery.
What’s going on at the farm: Harvest, harvest, harvest. Peak season is here! Green beans are still coming and need picking nearly every day. Our fall onions were pulled out this weekend and we finished topping the summer onions. Tomatoes are still pouring in as well and we harvested watermelon, red cabbage, and did lots of mowing and weeding as we prepare the fields for fall. Our annual farm potluck will be coming up the last weekend of August on the 25th. Emails with details yet to come, so watch for an e-mail coming your way. Enjoy the harvest everyone!
