Ingredients
- 5 medium potatoes
- 4 large cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp salt or to taste
Instructions
- Dice and place potatoes into a pot of water. Heat until boiling
- Simmer potatoes until fork tender, ~10-15 mins
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a saucepan
- Finely chop garlic, add to pan
- Cook on low until soft, ~5 mins; set aside
- Once potatoes are soft, drain water
- Add butter, salt, and garlic to the potatoes. Mash and serve
